Bill Boswell
Cue up the percussion as Coach Bill enters onto the field! I'm delighted to have Bill back with our middle school program. Bill will provide some great foundation and techniques for our throwers of the team along with providing input and direction during our season. Bill comes to the program with several years of leading and assisting with a track & field program and we are thankful to have him on the team.
All About Me
My hometown is Westphalia, MI and then moved to Pewamo, MI where I attended Pewamo-Westphalia High School. I graduated from Michigan State University with a B.M. in Music Education and then completed my M.E. in Educational Leadership at Grand Valley State University. I'm an active adjudicator for Scholastic Marching Bands and Michigan Competitive Bands Association as well as a number of indoor percussion circuits outside the state. I've also worked as an arranger and consultant for the Legends Performing Arts Association as well as a number of high school programs.

Currently I've been teaching Band at Mattawan since 2008, after coming from the Dryden Community Schools where I was the director of music for grades K-12 for two years.
​
In my spare time I enjoy playing drums, running, cycling, hiking, and spending time with his daughter, Charlee.
